1940 – 2026
Our hearts are heavy as we announce the passing of Pauline (LeBlanc) Langille (born August 14, 1940). Pauline passed away peacefully on Monday February 9, 2026, surrounded by loved ones and the dedicated and caring staff at The Briarlea Care Home in Moncton, NB.
Pauline is predeceased by her beloved husband, Mike Langille (2016), her parents; Donat and Julie (Babineau) LeBlanc, sisters; Viola Savoie and Sara Smith, brothers; Edgar LeBlanc, Sylva LeBlanc and Edgar Leblanc, who died in infancy.
Throughout her illness, Pauline was lovingly supported by her daughter; Giselle Dupuis McLaughlin (Jeffrey), her brother and wife; Roger LeBlanc (Noel-Ange), her niece and husband; Cecile Savoie Daigle (Roger) and niece Lorraine LeBlanc. Pauline also leaves two grand- daughters who will miss her deeply; Sherry Dupuis (Jacob) of Edmundston and Gabrielle McLaughlin (Eduardo) of Switzerland. Also surviving Pauline are 3 sisters; Laura Leibel (Mel) of Innisfall, AB, Maria Berthe of Moncton, NB, Emilia Henkel (John) of St-Edouard, NB, and a second brother; Henri LeBlanc (Ginette) of Bedec and nieces and nephews.
Pauline was a gifted artist, painter, quilter, knitter and rug hooker who excelled at all. She was a great cook and loved hosting family and friends over dinner or outdoor barbecues. With a wink and a smile, she made those around her feel loved and appreciated. She loved animals and collecting sea glass along the beach where she walked with her beloved dachshund Misty. Her sharp wit, strength and boundless energy will forever be cherished by her surviving family members and friends.
Pauline requested that there be no visitations and her family will honor her wishes by having a private celebration of life in her honor at a later date.
