1955~2026

It is with sadness that we announce that Ovie Theriault passed away peacefully at home on April 19, 2026 at the age of 70.

Born on September 13, 1955; he was the son of the late Aubin Theriault & Delima (Martin) Theriault.

He will be greatly missed by his daughters, Sylvie (Anthonie du Toit) & France (James Slattery), his step-daughter, Dayna Roache, his grand-children who were his everything, Lachlan, Alex, Quinn, Darcy, Amelie & Zoe and Messier, his special sisters and brother, Diane, Jacqueline, Helene, Cyril, Mireille & Julie, and many great friends.

He is predeceased by Mary Orr (wife), and his mother and father.

Our Ovie was a simple, friendly and soft man. Loved nature, his family and friends,

his dogs, his camp, and ancestry.

He will be greatly missed.

The family will gather on May 1, 2026 at the Passage Funeral Home (625 Mountain Rd, Moncton)

at 3pm until 5pm for a simple celebration of life gathering.
