It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paulette Christie, 76, on Friday, April 24th, 2026, at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital in Sainte-Anne-de-Kent.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and the late Eva Christie (LeBlanc).
Paulette will be sadly missed by her children: Christine Jean of Cocagne and Sebastien LeBlanc of Bouctouche; her granddaughter, Myriam Jean; her brother, Daniel Christie (Gisèle) of Dieppe; her aunt, Sr. Émilie Christie; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Paulette was a caring and selfless person, with a heart of gold, both in her work as a nurse and in her everyday life. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to her children and found immense joy in her granddaughter, who held a special place in her heart. Paulette cheered proudly watching her play hockey and ringette.
Visitations will be held at Passage ~ Chartersville (363 Amirault Street, Dieppe) on Monday, May 4th, 2026, from 2:00pm until 3:45pm. A funeral service will take place in the chapel at 4:00pm.
Donations in memory of Paulette can be made to the Saint-Anselme RC Church in Dieppe.
