1932 – 2026
Elizabeth “Betty” Romaine Boyd (nee Peck) passed away peacefully on May 7, 2026, at the age of 93. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Gregory MacPherson Boyd, and her parents Gerald and Margaret Peck.
Betty was artistic, creative, and always busy with a project. She was a talented painter, seamstress, and cook. She belonged to the Fundy Bridge Club for 50 years, enjoyed being a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Ladies Society, and a member of the Moncton AH Guild.
A proud mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she will be sadly missed by her children Cynthia (Peter), Colin (Valerie), Robert (Karen), and Patricia (Michael), grandchildren Alex, Connor, Kyle, Madison, Peter, Patrick, Griffin, Allison, and Nicholas, and great-grandchildren Kostek, Leia, and Antonia.
Our family is deeply grateful to the compassionate staff at Havenwood for the kindness, dignity, and care they showed her.
A Funeral Mass for Betty will be held at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church (5 Fatima Dr, Riverview) on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 11am with Fr. Phil Mulligan presiding. A reception at the Dan Bohan Center will be held immediately after the service. Burial will follow. Donations made to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital would be appreciated by her family.
