Bouctouche, NB – It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Gerard “Gerry” Gallant, at the age of 75, which occurred on May 9, 2026, at the Manoir Saint-Jean-Baptiste in Bouctouche.

Born on August 3, 1950, he was the son of the late Philias Gallant and the late Marie Gallant (née Gosselin).

He will be deeply missed by his sons: Jerry Gallant (Rhonda) of Leominster, Massachusetts, and Jamie Gallant of Waltham, Massachusetts. He also leaves behind his special friend, Marguerite Pitre of Saint-Paul-de-Kent; his sister, Gisèle LeBlanc (Charles) of Saint-Antoine; his brother, Lenny Gallant (Sherry) of Nashua, New Hampshire; and his half-brother, Peter Jean (Adrienne) of Paquetville, NB, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Besides his parents, Gerry was predeceased by his brother, Donald Gallant.

The family would like to sincerely thank the staff of the Manoir Saint-Jean-Baptiste for the excellent care given to Gerry.

A donation in memory of Gerry can be made to the Manoir Jean Baptiste activity fund.

In keeping with Gerry’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service at this time. Details regarding a visitation and funeral service will be announced at a later date.
