Trudeau: Canada ‘Well Positioned To Weather Global Market Uncertainty’

In the wake of the historic referendum in the United Kingdom our Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has issued a statement saying Canada will keep on building relationships with both the UK and the European Union as those two form a new relationship.

The British Pound has dropped to its lowest level since 1985 and stock values are down as well. Trudeau says Canada is “well positioned to weather global market uncertainty as we have done in the past.”

Trudeau also commenting on the resignation of British Prime Minister David Cameron thanking him for “being such a close ally and good friend to our country.”
