A 29 year old Moncton man is dead and a 4 year girl has been seriously injured after the accident on Route 115 near Ammon Road in Irishtown.
The girl was taken to Moncton Hospital, but then later transported to the IWK Hospital in Halifax.
RCMP say the crash happened at around 5:30 yesterday, after a pickup truck and car collided.
The driver of the pickup suffered non life threatening injuries.
Route 115 was closed to traffic for over seven hours yesterday, as RCMP investigated. They’re still trying to determine what caused the crash.
The man’s name hasn’t been released.
