After just one term as the PC MLA for Moncton West, Sue Stultz is out, after a defeat by Liberal Cathy Rogers in the riding of Moncton South.
Stultz says they’ve accomplished a lot in four years, and despite the loss, she will continue to do work for her community.
“I have this philosophy that I will do for my community, with or without government. Government has been great, we have done a wonderful job and a lot of great work in the riding. I am very proud of the work that we have done.”
This is a first time win for Cathy Rogers. She is grateful to those who elected her.
“The first thing I am doing is going around the city to thank my voters. I am very appreciative and humbled by the support. I will not take this for granted.”
Rogers won the riding by over 600 votes.
