A man already serving a prison term is to be sentenced in a Moncton court today for making child pornography.
The 33-year-old man cannot be identified due to a publication ban…
He pleaded guilty in May to several child pornography offences, sexual interference and invitation of sexual touching, and was sentenced to two years behind bars for making child pornography available to others. He will be sentenced today on the other charges.
RCMP seized several computers, hard drives and other items from the man’s home prior to his arrest, which was a part of Operation Snapshot 3, a national RCMP initiative targeting people who possess or deal in child sexual abuse images.
