NB Power continues to make progress in its efforts to restore electricity following yesterday’s heavy snowfall.
As of 5pm today, most customers in Metro Moncton now have power but there are about 160 outages in the Hillsborough area.
About 2,000 customers are without power in the Port Elgin area.
The Fredericton area was the hardest hit by the storm where thousands are still in the dark.
While outages are falling in the south, numbers are growing in the north and west which have been dealing with heavy snow today.
