Now that we have snow on the ground in Metro Moncton, it’s even more important to take note of overnight winter parking bans.
As of today (December 1), Moncton, Riverview and Dieppe all have on-street parking bans in place from midnight until 7am.
The measure takes effect to ensure that streets can be safely cleared whether it snows or not.
Owners of any vehicles who don’t comply with the respective by-laws could be ticketed or towed.
The overnight parking bans are in place until spring, March 31 in Dieppe, April 1 in Riverview and April 15 in Moncton.
