Wendy Hunter, of Riverview, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital Centre on Saturday, February 7, 2026. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of David Hunter and Marjorie Allison (Prosser).

She loved to crochet and made several beautiful pieces, she also loved her cats, puzzles and colouring.

She will be missed and remembered by her parents David and Marjorie, sister Kim (Lorne) Zlukosky, brothers: Jeff (Corinne Lund) Hunter, Jamie (Tracy) Neufeld, niece Kaylee, nephew Justin, and several cousins.

Her family will be receiving relatives and friends on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 from 1:00pm until the time of her celebration of life service at 2:00pm. In memory of Wendy, donations to PAW would be greatly appreciated by her family. A special thank you to the staff and volunteers of the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital for the care she received during her stay. Also, a special thank you to Tommy for the friendship they shared, Catherine for giving her so much care and to Pastor Tim Whidden for the visits and guidance; even small gestures were so appreciated by her and her family.
