1925 ~ 2026
Moncton, NB – It is with heavy heart that we announce the peaceful passing of Vital Robichaud, 100, of Manoir Notre-Dame, that occurred on March 9th, 2026, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital in Moncton.
Born in Saint-Charles-de-Kent, he was the son of the late Placide B. Robichaud and the late Sylvie (Chevarie) Robichaud.
Vital worked as a Bus Driver for SMT, Truck Driver for Auto Haulaway and Jumbo Motor Express, as well as a Taxi Driver for Air Cab and White Cab until his retirement.
He will be sadly missed by his special friend, Norma Landry; his two sons: Todd of Moncton and Donnie of Amherst; several grandchildren; his two brothers: Sylvio (late Claudette) of Moncton, and Roger (late Diane) of Truro; his sister, Francoise (late Ken) Coster of Moncton; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters: Alderic, Elodie, Azade, Ben, Venolia, Camille, Ernest, Placidie, Zoel, Albert, Placide, and Placide (infant).
There will be no visitation prior to the funeral service that will be held at Passage-Chartersville Funeral Chapel, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (506) 857-1901, on Tuesday, March 17th, at 11 am.
