1936 – 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Thelma Anne Johnson, who passed away on September 17, 2026, at The Moncton Hospital. Thelma was born in The Glades, NB. She was daughter of the late George and Violet (nee Paynter) Carter.

She will be missed by her daughter; Wendy Johnson, brother; Fred (Theresa) Carter, her grandchildren; Holly, Aiden, Olivia, and several nieces and nephews.

Aside from her parents, Thelma was predeceased by her sons; Danny and Rickey, and several siblings.

Respecting Thelma’s wishes, cremation has taken place at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview, NB (506-869-2007). A private graveside ceremony will take place at The Glades Cemetery at a later date.
