1971 – 2026

It is with broken hearts that we announce passing of David Stacey (Dave) of Riverview which occurred at his residence on Thursday, September 16, 2026 from a sudden heart attack. 

Born in Ormstown, PQ, he was the son of the late Alvin and Rosemary (Haney) Stacey. Dave truly loved spending time with his family and friends. Not only was he a lover of music, but he was also a true Habs fan for many years.  A former employee of Co-Op Atlantic for many years but most recently retired from Ultramar. 

He will forever be in the hearts of his wife of over 33 years Krista (Trueman), son Caleb, sisters; Lorie Steeves (Lorne), Jenn Fearon (Kenny), brothers: Mike (Lindsay), Derek (Corri) and Jamie (Natalie), stepmother, Ruth Donovan, mother in law, Marie Trueman, sister in law, Cher Trueman, cherished nieces and nephews: Sarah, Christopher, Logan, Sam, Savanah, Dylan, Eden, Lyam, Jared, Wyatt, Owen and Wren and a great niece Anna, as well as many close friends. 

The family invites relatives and friends to Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine. Riverview (869-2007) on Friday September 25 from 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM to pay tribute and honor Dave’s life. A times to share stories and memories will take place at 3:45 PM.
