Bouctouche, NB – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, Stella Allain, 91, of Manoir St-Jean-Baptiste, that occurred on Friday, March 6th, 2026, at her residence.
Born in St-Pierre-de-Kent, NB, she was the daughter of the late Adelin Melanson and the late Marie (Allain) Melanson.
She will be sadly missed by her three children: Guy (Bernice), Claude (Pauline), and Estelle (Darrell) all of Bouctouche Baie; her four grandchildren: Alex (Alyssa), Christopher, Dylan “Ivy”, and Patrick; her brother, Normand Melanson (Elise) of Moncton; her brother-in-law, Donald LeBlanc of Shemogue; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edouard Allain (2008); and by her four sisters: Dorice (Frank), Rose (Yvon), Huberte (André), and Lorraine.
Visitation will be held from Passage-Maillet, 29 de l’Église Street, Bouctouche, NB, (506) 743-2207, on Thursday, March 19th, 2026, from 2 to 4 pm, and from 5:30 to 6:45 pm, followed by the funeral mass at St-Jean-Baptiste RC Church at 7 pm.
Burial will take place in the Parish Cemetery in the spring.
