August 5, 1944  –  April 1, 2026

Sandra Swansburg, 81, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. Born in Pleasant Ridge, Kings Co. NB, she was the daughter of the late Bliss and Vera (Craft) Darling.

Sandra retired from Scotia Bank having worked in Sussex, Newcastle and Moncton. In earlier years she volunteered with Queen Elizabeth School- Breakfast program. She was a member of Mountain View United Church, also a member of the UCW.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, C. Dale Swansburg, sons Douglas (Ruth Ann), Darren (Tracey) and David; grandchildren Austin, Evan, Nathan, Taylor, Lorne, Megan, Sarah, Abigail and Clayton; brother Larry Darling (Eileen); many nieces and nephews.

Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by infant granddaughter Charlotte Rose; sister Vivian (Russell), brothers Everett (Evelyn), Gordon (Eva), Austin, Delbert and Ronald (Patricia).

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, April 8 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM from Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Rd. Moncton NB (506-858-1995). A Funeral Service to Celebrate Sandra’s life will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at 1:00 PM, from Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, followed by a reception. Interment, Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
