Pauline Cormier

1953~2026

Moncton, NB~ It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pauline (Racette) Cormier, on Tuesday, May 12th, 2026, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton. She passed away peacefuly with her children by her side.

Born in Montréal, QC, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse Racette and the late Victorine (Doucet) Racette.

Pauline, also known as “Mama Paulina” by her close friends and co-workers was a woman who found joy in life’s simple and beautiful moments.  She had a deep love for cooking often bringing people together through her meals. She cherished every opportunity to travel and explore new places,  Wether she was  working on crafts, tending to her garden or soaking up the sun at the beach, she embraced the world with warmpth and creativity.  She especially loved quiet sunday drives where the journey mattered just as much as the destination. 

Her heart belonged to her family and friends  with whom she shared laughter, stories and countless treasured memories.  She also found comfort and companionship in her beloved dog  Bella who was never far from her side.  Pauline will be remembered for her loving spirit, her appreciation for life’s little joys and the warmth she brought to everyone around her.  She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness and connection that will continue to live on in all who knew her.

She will be sadly missed by her two children: Richard (Danika) of Memramcook  and Rachel (Doug) of Moncton; her brothers: Maurice (Alvina) of Moncton and Roger (Diane) of Montréal; her sisters: Carole (Armand), Louise (late Emerye), Nicole (late Roger) all of Moncton and Joanne of Montréal; her grandchildren: Kyle and Jacob. As well as many nieces and nephews, her godchild Chantal.  She also leaves behind her two best friends: Viola Terris and Bernice Surette.

A gathering to celebrate the life of Pauline will be held at Passage Funeral Home Moncton (625 Ch. Mountain Road, Moncton, NB,) on Saturday, May 23rd, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m only.

In Pauline’s memory, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
