Michael Charles McCulloch

1957 – 2026

Michael McCulloch of Riverview, NB, passed away at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital Centre on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the age of 69 years. Born in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late William and Harriett (Hughes) McCulloch.

Growing up in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Mike later made his home in Riverview, where he built a life centered on family, friendship, and community. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose steady presence, unwavering support, and quiet strength touched the lives of everyone who knew him.

Throughout his life, Mike was known for his strong work ethic, kind heart, and genuine concern for others. He faced life’s challenges with resilience and determination, always putting his family first and ensuring those he loved felt supported and cared for.

Away from work and daily responsibilities, one of Mike’s greatest passions was cheering on the Boston Bruins. Win or lose, he remained a loyal fan and rarely missed a game. To those who knew him best, Bruins hockey was more than a pastime, it was one of life’s simple pleasures that brought him great joy.

Above all else, Mike treasured time spent with his family. He found happiness in gathering together, sharing stories, signing songs, having a beer, and creating lasting memories with the people he loved most.

Among his greatest joys was watching his two grandchildren grow and flourish. He was an immensely proud grandfather who cherished every milestone, achievement, and special moment he shared with them. Nothing brought a bigger smile to his face than spending time with his grandchildren and seeing the people they were becoming.

Mike also cherished the opportunities to travel and visit family. Some of his happiest memories were made visiting his son and daughter in law in Florida, Toronto, and Las Vegas. These moments together created lasting bonds and treasured memories that will live on in the hearts of his family for years to come.

His legacy of love, dedication, kindness, and family will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Survived by his wife and best friend, Karen (Ayles); daughter, Melissa McCulloch (Travis Rayworth) of Riverview, NB; son, Jason McCulloch (Ashley) of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Courtney and Caden.
