Marjorie H. Hiltz, 95, of Moncton and formerly of Beech Hill, Nova Scotia, passed away peacefully surrounded by love on Saturday morning, April 11, 2026. Born in Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Minnie (Nowe) Holman.
Marjorie enjoyed bowling, ice skating and was a former member of the Old Bones Skating Club in Nova Scotia, but first and foremost she loved spending time with her family and socializing with her friends. She was loved by all who knew her and will be deeply missed.
Marjorie will be sadly missed by her loving daughters, Patricia Haines (Kevin) of Moncton, Paula Arenburg (Richard) of Chester Basin, NS and Marsha Corkum (Sherman) of Bridgewater, NS; cherished grandchildren, Jennifer Geldart (Darien), Jonathan Haines and Christina Bachman (Bryce); great grandchildren, Samantha, TJ, Brooklyn, Cali, Tyler, Raven and Luna; son in law, Cyril Walters and also several extended family members.
In addition to her parents, Marjorie was predeceased by her husband, Murray James Hiltz; daughter, Sandra Walters (Cyril) and granddaughter, Tanyia Arenburg (Stephen Tracey); sister, Helen Dares (Clyde); brother, Lawrence (Marion).
Marjorie’s family would like to thank Palliative Care Services, NB Heath Link, Extra Mural, Kindrid Home Care, the doctors, nurses and support workers for the exceptional care that was given to Marjorie during her illness.
A Service to Celebrate Marjorie’s Life will be held at a later date in Nova Scotia with timeline to be announced. Marjorie’s arrangements have been entrusted into the professional care of Fergusons Funeral Home & Fergusons Crematorium, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (506-858-1995).
