Dieppe, NB – It is with a heavy heart that we announce the peaceful passing of Léo Haché, 91, on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital Centre in Moncton.

Born in Atholville, NB, he was the son of the late Francois W. Haché and the late Joséphine Gallant.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Isabelle Haché (née Vienneau); his children: Denis Haché (Hélène Boissonneault), Guy Haché (Asmae El Farissi), Carole Hachey (Patrick Lecanelier) and Claude Hachey (Julie Mercier); his nine grandchildren: David, Geneviève, Catherine, Francis, Adam, Sébastien, Maxime, Sarah and Véronique; his six great-grandchildren: Courtney, Tylor James, Maddox, Malexia, Félix and Romy; as well as several nieces and nephews.

His four sisters: Eva, Jeanne, Hélène and Delourde; as well as his brother, Aurèle, preceded him in the grave.

A private funeral service will be held at a later date.
