Hans “Jurgen” Ritzhaupt passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, February 27, 2026.

Born in Germany, he was the son of the late Emil and Elfriede (Klefenz) Ritzhaupt. Jurgen proudly served in the Navy and later enjoyed his retirement years.

He is survived by his sister, Barbara Breau (Stephen) of Irishtown; and his brothers, Robert Ritzhaupt (Cheryl) of Moncton and Michael Ritzhaupt (Dawn) of Shediac Cape; also by several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Jurgen’s wishes, there will be no public service.
