1942 – 2026

David “Brian” Horsman, of Hillsborough, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Carroll (Buster) and Mildred (nee Lewis) Horsman.

Brian loved books, puzzles and spending time at the shore. He also worked for CNR and was in the navy.

He will be deeply missed and remembered by his loving wife of 40 years Muriel (nee Baigent) Horsman, step-daughters: Corinna (Brent) Buchanan, Kristina (Rudy) Roach, sister Carol McAllister, brother Gary (Merry Lee), grandchildren: Cory (Nancy) Buchanan, Nicholas (Myriam) Buchanan, Cyrilla (Trystan) Franklin, Gerald Roach, great-grandchildren: Drake, Kole, Nate, Erza, sister-in-law Marilyn and his many nieces and nephews.

Aside from his parents, Brian was predeceased by his brother Sherman Horsman and brother-in-law Arthur McAllister.

In keeping with Brian’s wishes, cremation has taken place and interment will take place at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd. Riverview (506-869-2007). Donations in his memory can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
