Bertha M. Darling, 79 of Moncton, surrounded by loved ones passed away peacefully within the comforts of her home on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. Born in Moncton she was the daughter of Aurore (Arseneault) and the late Oscar LeBlanc.
Bertha retired as a Counsellor, having worked at Crossroads for Women and the Moncton YMCA. She attended St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church, enjoyed reading, scrolling on the internet, watching her favorite television show Sullivan’s Crossing and she loved spending time at the cottage with her family and friends.
In addition to her mother Aurore, Bertha will be sadly missed by her loving husband of over 60 years, Thomas Darling of Moncton; daughter, Tania Darling of Moncton; son, Richard Darling (Natalie) of Moncton; cherished grandson, Benjamin Darling; sister, Mona Kelly (Peter) of Moncton; several extended family members. In addition to her father, Bertha was predeceased by her brother, Andy and sister, Monique.
Relatives and friends are invited to Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (506-858-1995) for a Service to Celebrate Bertha’s Life on Tuesday March 10, 2026 at 1:30 pm.
