Anne-Marie Cormier

1945 – 2026

St-Antoine, NB – It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Anne-Marie Cormier, 81, on Friday, April 10th, 2026, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton, NB.

Born in Ste-Marie-de-Kent, NB, she was the daughter of the late Amédée and the late Aurélie (Richard) LeBlanc.

A long-time, deeply respected care worker known for her tireless work ethic, Anne-Marie worked many years in the St-Antoine area nursing homes, at Résidence Au Bénaise, at Résidence Urbain Breau and at Foyer St-Antoine. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her daughter, Ginette Feifer (Mark) of Moncton; by her son, Denis Cormier (Sylvette Gaudet) of St-Antoine; by her grandchildren: Brandon (Venessa) and Alexa; by her special friend, Yvonne Breau; by her sisters: Sr. Jeanne-Mance LeBlanc of Montreal, Jacqueline LeBlanc of Trois-Rivières, QC and Jacinthe Vautour (late Aris) of Dieppe; her sister-in-law, Jeannine (late Jean Noël); she will be deeply missed by her extended Cormier family, who were such an important part of her life; by her furry friends: Stewie and Oakley, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Alyre Cormier in 2022; by her son, Danny in 2003; by her sister, Jeanne (Alyre); by her brothers: Jean-Noël and Jean-Paul (Élise) and by her nephew, André.

At her personal request, there will be no visitation and funeral service.

Burial will take place in St-Antoine Parish Cemetery, in the spring of 2026.

In her memory, a donation can be made to Moncton People for Animal Wellbeing.
