Alvina LeBlanc

1932 ~ 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alvina LeBlanc, 93, on Saturday, May 16th, 2026, at the Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste in Bouctouche.

Born in Richibucto-Village, she was the daughter of the late André and the late Florida Babineau (Collette).

Alvina will be sadly missed by her children: Florida Cormier (late Roméo), Gisèle LeBlanc both of Saint-Edouard-de-Kent, Aurore LeBlanc (late Donald Boucher), Alvin LeBlanc (Adèle) both of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, Lise Comeau (Claude), Rhéal LeBlanc (Cécilia Leger) both of Saint-Edouard-de-Kent, Paul LeBlanc (Eva Robichaud) of Saint-Antoine, and Nicole Breau (Ronny) of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent; her sister, Sémida Richard (late René) of Richibucto; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Elias LeBlanc; her stepmother, Rosalie Richard; her son, Jean-Guy; her infant children: Valmond and Denise; as well as her brothers: Albert (late Elisa) and Jack (late Alexina).

The family would like to thank Camillienne LeBlanc, Georges Babineau, as well as the staff at the Manoir Saint-Jean Baptiste for the great care they provided over the years.

Visitations will be held at Sainte-Anne-de-Kent RC Church (7611 Route 134, Ste-Anne-de-Kent) on Wednesday, May 27th, 2026, from 1:00pm until 3:45pm. A funeral service will take place in the church at 4:00pm.

Donations in memory of Alvina can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada (Dementia).
