New Local Ownership For The Moncton Miracles

There’s new local Ownership for the Moncton Miracles, and the hope is, this will be the first step to getting the team a championship.

Seven businesspeople from Southeastern New Brunswick are investing in the team with one of them a main partner.

Rick Archibald, who is from the Salisbury area, owns 55 per cent of the team and he says he will be a full time player in helping to make this team a success.

He already knows what he wants to see happen first, “We need to sell season tickets and tht’s what we are going to spend a lot of our time on.”

Currently, around 300 season tickets have been sold, but Archibald wants to see that grow to around 2000.

Archibald says he knows this investment will not be a major money maker going in, but his goal is to keep the team here in Moncton.

Team President Steve Trueman also confirmed that he is also one of the seven owners. He says with the help of the fans, they can make an even more successful team, and now with a local Ownership committment, there’s more stability for the Moncton Miracles.
