NB Schools Preparing For A Potential Crisis

Once a crisis hits a school there is not time to get prepared. A new program aims to help the schools in Southern New Brunswick have the tools to deal with it.

Anglophone South Superintendent Zoe Watson says they need to be ready in the event of a flood, a lockdown or a death.

She says some schools have experienced an incident while others have not but its important that they be prepared for it.

Watson says one component of the Prepare course is having procedures in place and making sure schools are speaking a common language when tragedy strikes.
