Gagetown Ferry Service Down After Cable Break

The Gagetown ferry is out of service until further notice after the cable broke on Friday afternoon with two crew members on board.

There were no passengers on the ferry at the time and the province says the two workers are safe and the ferry has been anchored.

The service will be back up again once the ferry has been retrieved and the cable is reconnected. The ferry runs between Gagetown and Lower Jemseg.
