A truck with four people inside catching fire on Route 820.
Simonds Fire responding and when crews arrived the vehicle was fully involved in flames however everyone got out of the vehicle safely and there were no injuries.
We’re told that traffic was backed up for a while firefighters extinguished the blaze and the highway shut down as crews cleared the scene.
Meantime, Kennebecasis Valley Fire crews being called out to 61 Roberts Lane in Quispamsis after an electronic programmable thermostat caught fire and set off the smoke alarm.
We’re told the homeowners were outside when firefighters got and the blaze had extinguished itself. There was little structural damage to the wall.
An investigation is now underway into the thermostat.
