Jihadi terrorism isn’t a topic we hear much about here in Saint John, New Brunswick – but MP Rob Moore was in town today (Friday) talking about new measures being rolling out by the Harper Government which – it’s claimed – will make us safer from such attacks.
Moore tells us the world is a dangerous place, and criminalizing online terrorist propaganda, and making it easier to detail suspected terrorists, is necessary especially after attacks on Ottawa.
The proposed legislation grants more power to CSIS and law enforcement agencies to address what they see as threats to Canadian security.
