Disappointment from several non profit organizations over news that NB Liquor will ban fundraising starting in June of next year.
The Maritime Greyhound Adoption Program holds annual fundraisers at the various stores in Greater Moncton and the President and Founder says this news is devastating.
Deb Levasseur says this is going to mean a major loss to the program. She also says she wishes NB Liquor had come forward and discussed the issues and concerns of the public before they made a decision to outright stop the fundraising and hopes public pressure and awareness will make them reconsider their decision.
