The trail system in Mapleton Park is getting an upgrade this year to reduce concerns of erosion along Halls Creek.
City Council approved a $161,000 contract with JK Fraser and Son Ltd to carry out the work between June and August of this year.
This is the second of three phases of work on the trails, and it involves installing culverts, raising the trail and replacing manhole covers along 695 metres of the trail.
Detours will be in place where needed.
