The Moncton Wildcats will find out this afternoon, whether or not the 2019 Memorial Cup will be hosted in the Hub City.
If successful, it would be the second Cup hosted in the club’s history.
The other city vying for the event is the Halifax Mooseheads.
The tournament would be played at the new downtown events centre.
An announcement is expected to be made live on the QMJHL Facebook page at 1 o’clock(ADT) today.
