Man Charged In Homeless Shelter Fire

Charges have been laid in connection with a suspicious fire at a former homeless shelter.

Twenty-six-year-old Shawn Malley of Moncton was arrested on Saturday morning at the Moncton Hospital.

He is charged with arson with disregard for human life.

The House of Nazareth on Clark Street was significantly damaged by fire.

Investigators determined that it was deliberately set.

Malley is scheduled to make another court appearance tomorrow.
