CSC Seizes Unauthorized Items At Atlantic Institution

About $20, 000 worth of unauthorized items were seized as an inmate attempted to bring them in to the Atlantic Institution in Renous.

Correctional Service Officers and police made the seizure earlier this month.

Items included 40 grams of tobacco, one thousand hydromorphone beads and 41 grams of shatter.

The Correctional Service of Canada works in partnership with police to take action against those who attempt to bring prohibited items into the institutions.
