Magnetic Hill Zoo Sees More Visitors This Year

Visitors love their big cats. The number of visitors to the Magnetic Hill Zoo this year is proof of that.

148, 000 visitors have been to the Zoo so far this year. Last year, there were only 142, 000.

General Manager Bruce Dougan says the new big cat exhibit is one of the reasons behind that.

He says, “We were expecting an increase in visitation, which we did see. We have had a very positive reaction to the new cat exhibit through our Facebook page, TripAdvisor and general comments left at the Zoo.”

The Zoo welcome the new Amur tigers in 2014, and their new big cat exhibit opened in July of this year.
