Public feedback is sought on a decision to rename a greenspace next to City Hall after well known Acadian poet Gerald Leblanc.
The idea was brought up at Moncton City Council last night, but they want to hear from the public first before a final decision is made.
City Councillors will hold a vote at their meeting on September 21st
It was previously proposed that Robinson Court be renamed after Gerald Leblanc, but that idea was shot down.
City Councillors also felt that there is a need for a better policy for the naming and use of public spaces.
