Administrative Services Group Inks New Deal With Provincial Government

The provincial government and the Administrative Services group represented by the New Brunswick Union of Public and Private Employees have signed a new collective agreement.

The group is made up of around 24 hundred employees, that includes Service New Brunswick customer service representatives, accounting and payroll officers at the New Brunswick Internal Services Agency, and deputy sheriffs at the Department of Justice.

The five-year and three-month agreement includes annual economic wage increases of one per cent and an adjustment tied to the discontinuance of the retirement allowance benefit.
