A funeral will be held tomorrow in Bathurst for a 22 year old woman who died tragically after attending this weekend’s AC/DC concert in Moncton.
Stephanie LaPointe died after she was struck by a car while crossing Highway 2 between Mapleton and Gorge Road.
Condolences have been pouring in and her grieving mother, Nicole Blanchard commented on Facebook this week, saying, “Nothing could prepare me for what happened, your children are not suppose to die before you. I just want to wake up from this nightmare.”
LaPointe was supposed to start her last year of college yesterday, where she was studying to be a police officer.
