A regimental funeral for a young Canadian Reservist will be held Tuesday in Hamilton.
24-year-old Corporal Nathan Cirillo was gunned down just four days ago while standing guard at the National War Memorial in Ottawa.
The funeral will be invitation only by request of the family. The Department of National Defence indicates people will be able to honour the fallen soldier by showing up along the procession route throughout downtown Hamilton.
Cirillo was a member of The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders. Military units from across the country are expected to take part in the funeral.
