Doaktown Man Sentenced For Sex Offences Involving Children

A 53-year-old Doaktown man has been sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty to sex offences involving children.

James Nash was facing 10 counts of sexual interference and 6 counts of invitation to sexual touching.

RCMP began an investigation earlier this year after receiving complaints involving two children.

The incidents occurred between June 2013 and January 2015 in the Doaktown area.

Nash was arrested in January and pleaded guilty in June.

He will be on the National Sex Offender Registry for life.
