On behalf of its 20 non-profit agency members, the Greater Moncton Homelessness Steering Committee is sponsoring an all-party candidates’ meeting.
The theme will be “Housing, Homelessness and Poverty.”
Spokesperson Sue Calhoun says the lack of affordable housing in the city, province and the country is reaching a crisis level and thousands in New Brunswick don’t have a safe, affordable place to call home.
All of the party candidates in Metro Moncton have been invited to attend.
The meeting will be held at the Karing Kitchen on Alma Street, Thursday, October 1st from 12:30 to 1:30-pm.
