Members of the Dieppe Fire Department are attending the largest provincial training session in Miramichi this weekend.
Dieppe Deputy Fire Chief Conrad Landry says these sessions help ensure the relevancy, quality and consistency of skills training for firefighters.
They will also have the opportunity to meet RCMP Assistant Commissioner Roger Brown, as well as attend workshops on the jaws of life, rescue at sea and autopump training.
More than 200 firefighters are attending this session hosted by the New Brunswick Association of Fire Chiefs, NBCC and the Office of the Fire Marshal.
