Green party leader David Coon is willing to enter into talks with the Liberals and the PCs because they want a stable government for New Brunswickers.
“As was done in British Columbia to make that happen, we want to negotiate a confidence and supply agreement,” Coon said in a phone interview today.

He says that would guarantee a party would have the confidence of the House by providing the support from the Green caucus
through a Throne Speech and a budget but not for legislation.
Coon says they would want to negotiate an agenda that is positive for New Brunswickers.
“The particular platforms by the Liberals and the Conservative campaigned on were obviously not that well received given that a minority of people voted for them,” Coon said.
He says that means creating a new and collaborative agenda.
Coon spoke with Brian Gallant and Blaine Higgs and they have agreed to enter into talks.
