We now know when the federal Conservatives will choose their next party leader.
The party will announce Andrew Scheer’s replacement on June 27th in Toronto. Scheer announced he was stepped down in December but is still serving as Leader.
Lisa Raitt, co-chair of the Leadership Election Organizing Committee, says the next head of the party must “show how they’re ready to take on the tough job of being Prime Minister.”
