A little girl has died after a single all-terrain vehicle crash in Acadieville on Thursday afternoon.
Richibucto RCMP responded to a call shortly after 12pm about an ATV which had flipped over on Desherbiers Road near Route 480.
A three-year-old girl was a passenger and was taken to hospital in Miramichi where she later died of her injuries.
The adult driver and another child on the ATV suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene.
Mounties say speed and alcohol are not believed to be factors in the crash.
