Several Companies Suspend Use Of Reusable Cups Due To Coronavirus

Tim Horton’s has temporarily stopped accepting reusable cups, due to fears from COVID-19.

President for the Corey-Craig Group Craig O’Neil, who operates Tim Horton’s locations in Southeast New Brunswick, says they are taking the proactive step, because the safety of their team members and customers is paramount.

This is in effect at Tim Horton’s stores across the country.

Tim Horton’s had planned to give away reusable cups as a part of the Roll Up the Rim contest, but that has been postponed.

The annual contest returns March 11th.

Starbucks and Second Cup are also being proactive and taking the same precautions..

All three companies, will still be offering the customer discount for reusable cups, which ranges between ten and twenty cents..
