Moncton’s very own castle has a new owner who has some very ambitious plans for the century old Gothic-Revival style building.
Longtime Moncton resident Jay Tse and a group of investors signed the final purchase agreement for Castle Manor only a week ago.
Tse says he plans to transform the castle into 14 high-end condomiumiums and he’s getting started right away.
He admits there’s a lot of work involved but says he has a lot of help from the city and very capable consultants and tradespeople.
Tse says each condo unit would be custom-built and prices would likely start at about $270,000.
The group is currently putting together a website where interested buyers can connect with the developers.
