Big Digout Underway In Metro Moncton

Metro Moncton has been buried again after the third major storm in Southern New Brunswick in less than a week.

Environment Canada meteorologist Claude Cote says this blizzard was an intense storm system.

Cote says 43 cm of snow fell along with strong winds which led to blizzard conditions over an 8-hour period.

Cote says Metro Moncton now has 104 cm of snow on the ground.

And he says forecasters are monitoring another storm system which could bring additional snow by the end of the week.
